Feeling confident in Ev Bravado

With the weather getting warmer its time to upgrade your wardrobe and add some distinctive, colourful, pieces. Lately, ive been changing out the trousers in my wardrobe, as a result I’ve been on the hunt for unique brands that haven’t yet flooded the streets of London.

One brand that I came across some months ago, was Ev Bravado owned by Everard Best. The stateside brand offers pieces with a kaleidoscope of colour. From ombre dyed to heavily embroidered and distressed denim, the brands statement pieces are ripe for the season.

Ev Bravado recently collaborated with Virgil Abloh for the Off-White SS19 show, supplying heavily branded rainbow embroidered jeans for the ultimate street style look. Everard has unbridled creativity down to an art form, as he consistently puts out reworked denim that take trousers from being a usual supporting element of an outfit; to being the focal point.

Aside from runway shows, the brand has been seen on a raft of celebrities such as Aleali May, Christian Combs and Playboi Carti. Everard represents the new wave of fashion and I’m excited to see his work reach greater heights beyond the U.S.

If the drip wasn’t enough with his trousers, Ev Bravado has recently teased a half rhinestone, half embroidered cream blazer to be released in Spring and currently has some dope embroidered hoodies on his website. With festival season underway I won’t be surprised if this is spotted at the events like Afropunk and Coachella.

Everard executes with confidence so we’re able to walk in it. I’m excited to see what comes next for this fast growing brand as he continues to take design and customisation to a next level.
