There’s some brands that absolutely understand that cozy doesn’t have to mean lazy and whilst we might be coming out of the season of wrapping up- you can never be too sure.. one brand that makes it clear that cozy clothing is here to stay is Midnight Special.

What fascinates me about the US brand is their unique use of rollercoaster buckles. A design popularised by Alyx on their accessories and trousers, Midnight Special takes it a step further by applying the buckle to their hoodies and jackets.

If the finishes and clasps weren’t enough, the brand uses a washed effect on its earth toned materials for a workwear yet futuristic aesthetic. These aeronautically themed garments have me ready to board the hype train for the midnight special. It will be interesting to see how they adapt this motif to other garments.
