Just because its cold doesn’t mean you can’t look good. In fact the winter months are prime time to show off your cozy pieces.  If you’re stuck on what cozy chic looks like, then you really have to look no further than US brand Dionne by T Dionne.

The brand’s season statement piece is a cropped neoprene puffer jacket appropriate for hitting the slopes. Produced originally in a grey colourway, Dionne has since added new colourways such as Sand, and I can only hope to see it in Olive too. Whilst the brand has opted muted natural tones this season, the summer collection is anything but muted.

Dionne created a variety of figure hugging co-ords, whilst experimenting with a range of materials from dyed cow hide to snakeskin. These holiday appropriate warmers and bikini tops, are both sexy and playful. Dionne’s exploration of materials is refreshing as it fosters curiosity when thinking of the art of the possible in womenswear. 

Its easy to use interesting materials on larger items where there is more surface to play with, but on these smaller delicate items there is less materials to create her masterpieces and less room for error, so the high skill set must be recognised. If you plan on spicing up your wardrobe this year then I recommend you get on Dionne!
