For years now Ugo Mozie has been one of my favourite stylists. I’ve followed his work and promoted ventures he’s undertaken. Ugo’s work is consistently executed to perfection so when he introduces me to new brands I pay attention.
I.N Official creatively directed by Nigerian designer Ifeyanyi Nwune, is a menswear brand that oozes sartorial opulence. The brand showcases pieces such as sheer shirts, silk and satin blazers, and an interesting take on wood bark fabric.
Their latest ‘New World Order’ collection which was designed in collaboration with Ugo Mozie, has been seen on celebrities such as Diggy Simmons, and Mario and was also present on the red carpet of the Wearable Art Gala. The brand recently held a London pop-up so its worth looking out for more activity from them in the capital.
There’s something regal about I.N Official’s pieces, most likely derived from the delicate blend of fabrics used, combined with a structure that keeps you head and shoulders above the rest. I’d love to see the brand exhibit their next collection at LFWM, and more importantly incorporated in street style as ambassadors of the continent.
I.N Official’s effortless aesthetic (yet purposeful in design) is what allows it to be a brand that integrates seamlessly into today’s trends, making it truly the I.N brand.
