If you didn’t know, I’m a huge fan of European brands, mainly because I believe they are the masters of minimalism. They are able to create unreplicated pieces with a clean finish. One brand that champions European simplicity is Belgian brand, Arte.
I have been following Arte for some time now and was even lucky enough to meet with owner Bertony Da Silva. The brand is able to make well fitting pieces that can easily become wardrobe staples. I first fell in love with it after seeing the quality of sweatshirts and I haven’t been dissapointed since.
Their current collection is filled with accents of purple and yellow ochre fit for the autumn season. Arte makes pieces that can be worked into any wardrobe, and when they introduce colour, they do it to perfection. This is evident in a lot of their older collections with pieces such as the red wool structured two-piece.
Arte screams contemporary art, and is ideal for the modern man. I’m hoping for an Arte show or showroom at Fashion Week in January, if not then life is my runway while I rock the masterpieces Bertony continues to create.
